My mom and I (plus her granddog Maggie) had a wonderful lunch here yesterday! Loved the “pick 2” lunch menu - Mom had a fresh mozzarella/ tomato / basil sandwich with a cool, refreshing potato and leek vichyssoise, and I had the French Ham and Cheese sandwich with apple and spinach salad. Super delicious!!! Mom also bought a loaf of homemade sourdough bread since all the bread on our plates was sooooo good. Nothing beats fresh, chewy, flavorful homemade sourdough bread with some butter and slices of tomato! Can’t wait to come back for brunch sometime, and it’s exciting to see they serve brunch until 2 pm! Love that the patio is dog friendly too.

It’s an awesome cafe tucked into a little spot between town and residents. Great breads and food. Inside or outside. Lovely patio. Extended hours from 8 to 8 this summer. Normally closes at 3.

We searched for dog friendly places to eat and this place was perfect! 🤩 The food was fresh and the outdoor seating under the trees nice on a hot summer day! 🌞I enjoyed a spinach salad with a side of chicken salad. We also had yummy BLT’s on sourdough bread and a wonderful grilled flounder sandwich. It was great to find stevia 🍃available for our tea too! We had to go home with a loaf of sourdough bread and coconut caramel lattes! We will return!👍😋

Perfect venue for a late spring birthday brunch! Broad menu has something for every appetite, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. Best coffee I've tasted in Athens. Staff are friendly, service is prompt, and the outdoor seating is a delightful experience filled with birdsong, gentle breeze, and dappled shade. I had a traditional southern 2 eggs over medium, with grits, biscuit, and soy sage patties; my birthday partner ordered the mushroom & spinach omelet. We shared bites, and mutually agreed everything was delicious. Our take-home treats of pecan pie bars and chocolate truffle stars were bakery delights. Definitely, this is on our list of repeat-visit brunch spots.

Thanks Big City Bread and Elana in catering they did a phenomenal job with our lunch order for our office. Professional, responsive, and most importantly- delicious!! Do not hesitate to order their boxed lunches for your group.
